All Over ebay, there are offers for all sorts of telescopes. They are often broken but beautiful, and  used as decor.
They are quite popular right now!

 It would be great to  have a telescope for beautiful scenery, stargazing & bird watching...For now, the sort-of-OK binoculars must do. Why? Well, because it appears that really good binoculars can cost as much as a telescope. Price aside, binoculars are portable.  Telescopes are stable and add Panache to a room... hmm...
Which would you prefer? Binoculars or telescope?
 Would you buy a telescope on eBay that is gorgeous but non-functioning?
