LOTTERY DIDN'T GO YOUR WAY?
Dreaming of endless money?
Me too.
The MEGA MILLIONS drawing does that to you.
Nothing wrong with dreams, as long as we count and
appreciate the blessings we DO have....right?
I am dreaming about the great home interior ideas here....
Love the curtains that surround the room or allow you to be outdoors
....and the doggie who coordinates with the fur throw!
Cute happy bedding...
Gorgeous woodwork, Fantastic lighting ideas...
A strong, modern, folkart blend~
How fun is this!?!
Dreaming of riches is fine, but don't forget the riches you HAVE!!!!
have a great day!

Tory Burch Design: Exceptional Style
I enjoy and admire her lovely fashion and interior designs. She is consistent in her choices of color and mood, but each time, the look is unique. She understands relaxed, appropriate style... An understated sophistication, for both formal and casual looks.
Here's why I am a fan:
I have the flipflops in black. Now must also have these:
Don't you feel as if you know this room?
She knows I want that dress:
Friendly formality~
Summer glamour ~ stay cool
What an original, smart and creative designer, businesswoman,
mother, and role model for all women !
You GO, Tory!
Have a great day!

Exquisite Kitchen Design and Detail Ideas ~
Ideas, Ideas, Ideas...!
This kitchen corner below grabs me and calls me in...
Wood cabinetry with glass fronts and checked fabric,
pretty metal hardware, with a metal flower vase,
checked floor, rich trim, patterned ceiling...
I wonder what is behind the curtain covering the
picture frame-sized opening in the wall by the window.
This has great pendants, countertops and hardware,
not to mention the cooker!
All set off by a happy and clean white paint:
CLOCK! I am stealing this idea the second I find that clock...
Check out the wainscotting/millwork/trim.
And sconces. And ...just look at these details!
This is a look that will never go away because it is so comforting, warm and cheerful.
And check out the cabinetry, especially the hardware!!!
For laypeople like me, this is a challenge to the eye,
to what is expected, but a great lesson, too: I love the mix of lighting
and the finish on the refrigerator doors.
This kitchen focuses on simplicity, with each
item simply designed and well made.
The view becomes the detail.
I think of this as The Library Effect, with the shelving color and style,,
unusual cabinetry doors (mirrored!), and lighting.
Small, super simple. The white and steel, the uncovered windows revealing gorgeous greenery, and the lighting and lack of clutter give it such casual élan.
So I can do lack of clutter and the clock idea, and get very happy!
How about you?!
Have a happy day!

6 Brilliant, Original, Truly Exquisite Design Ideas
A dreamy wallpaper at the back of a glass cabinetry:
TV in the laundry room:
Allee Willis took a flimsy-brass-mirror porthole,
sunk it into the floor, to serve as a laundry chute!!
Trompe loeil wallpaper>> impressive interest for a flat door!
Add a shelf above a doorway, paint it to match the trim,
then use it to display pottery , books, etc...
Use a ladder as a bath towel rack
Have a great day!
