Tory Burch Design: Exceptional Style

Tory Burch:
I  enjoy and admire her lovely fashion and interior designs. She is consistent in her choices of color and mood, but each time, the look is unique.  She understands relaxed, appropriate style... An understated sophistication, for both formal and casual looks. 
Here's why I am a fan:

MORE Exquisite Rooms: Natural Glamour

Oh, Joy!

These rooms are so gorgeous...the genius, the beauty, is in the apparent smplicity of design and color. 

As someone who loves to read ( with a nice cup of tea nearby!) this is the way to do it. These books are, wonderfully, from the 18th and 19th century  I get really undone by books covered in plain brown paper -- unless you can really see what you have.

 That clock is really interesting...antique?

I don't know why the sight of a perfectly designed ( or  perfectly UNdesigned) room does this to me, but it feels like a small rush of energy, and it's fun...

Holy Architecture~

Rather than being wasted and torn down, this heritage church 's beautiful architecture was saved, while the building as a whole was re-purposed. The facade was restored. The inside was gutted, repaired and updated. The result:  a series of beautiful apartments like this one below, with windows that are exquisite.

When a beautiful church has been closed down ( "deconsecrated"), it is a shame to see the beautiful architecture decayed or demolished when it can have new life and bring new beauty into our lives:

This is a beautiful Houston home that has  borrowed the beauty of church windows to create a sunshine-filled living area -- How wonderful to have these!:

Another "regular" house, not a former church, but these soaring vaulted ceilings bring the same airy, grand feeling of  the church or chapel ceiling.

This San Francisco church, built in 1909, had a crumbling brick exterior that was repaired, and the stain-glass windows were all restored...After considerable interior work, it became a beautiful family residence, as seen in the next images:

Here is a sweet chapel. It's exterior was restored, while the interior was renovated and reworked to make a modern, easy and elegant private home, now a real estate listing:
