Creative Room Ideas
Summer takes a toll on routines that keep us on track with projects, diets, blogs...but on this dark, stormy, tropical afternoon in the middle of July, I have enjoyed catching up on errands, scheduling Dr appts and rsvp-ing wedding events, doing laundry, paying bills, and last but NOT least, spotting these treasures online:

two pretty spaces
I am in Baton Rouge for a week or so on personal business, which makes blog time short and sweet -- just like this living room and the back porch shown here --
Truly idea-worthy and admire-able spaces~
I need to find a camera -- the newer home designs here in ( I spent a lot of time here growing up, so I can say this...)overcrowded, traffic-infested Baton Rouge are complete havens of privacy, peace and beauty in design. Gorgeous! --

A PLAID FOR ALL SEASONS...

Plaid is a great Winter classic, but it's not just for Winter.
We are used to seeing bright and pastel plaids on the golf course,
but the Spring - Summer plaid colors really look great beyond that~

to being mixed with bright white or yellow walls and summery florals~
(and with a more"industrial" application!)

My poor husband hates plaid. I LOVE it. We have, therefore, agreed to disagree on that point. I have two beautifully upholstered yellow-black plaid chairs in our living room, one Winter plaid wool scarf, and a pair of fun pink plaid sneakers. That's it. But I'm always dreaming of more!
