Mirrors in Kitchens

Here's the idea behind mirrored/ mirrors-in kitchens: 

light, a sense of extra space, seeing what's going on behind you

 as you cook or work at the sink, 

a touch of glamor,  

or to keep an eye on yourself in the kitchen!

And it just looks so great:

This first kitchen surprised me: Mirrored Kick plates! The details here are exquisite.

On a simpler,charming note: 

The rather unusual kitchen above is a real, non-showhouse,

 used-everyday kitchen, by the way.

A Fine Mix: Design, Mixed Up ~

This last image really wins for me. But they are all great:
