Shiny, Happy Rooms and Furniture

It's going to be rainy Saturday here, so I'm focused on another way to let the sunshine in --

Mirrors, mirrored furniture, chrome, polished steel, gold and silver leaf....all of it give a room Shine.  The reflecting light makes a room seem a bit more spacious, and the sparkle lends a your room a lovely  touch of elegance. 

This first room is my FAVORITE:

A Bevy of Beauties

You know, sometimes a design collector like me is trolling through her favorite blogs, portfolios, magazines and photos...and she just runs into a bunch of the most beautiful rooms...It is like hitting the jackpot -- not that I would know what that is like -- and I get so excited!  So this is one of those days, and I am so glad to share them all with you....

A  new renovation project, which is  -- hopefully --  starting up in late Jan/ early Feb, has prompted me to go into a bit of design overdrive:  I go through my favorite rooms, saved here and on Pinterest,  and plan and plan...life is fun.
