Giants Won, Madonna Rocked, Great Super Bowl!!!

Congratulations, Giants! You did my father proud...!
And Inspiration to all women came in the form of 53-yr-old, and still totally sexy, Madonna.

If you are one of those those who fretted about whether or not Madonna was lip-syncing,
let me just say this: get over it!
Madonna delivered on pre-game expectations with a Busby-Berkeley style dance-pop spectacle that fans were expecting and rock "purists" were dreading.

Here she comes, being delivered on an elaborate float by soldiers and slaves
just like Cleopatra, while singing "Vogue."

Wow. What a beginning!
Madonna was joined by LMFAO  going into "Music", then
they performed "Party Rock Anthem" and "Sexy and I Know It."
Madonna was briefly lifted onto one LMFAO guy's shoulders like a cheerleader!

Then it was"Give Me All Your Luvin'," with really fast rapping by Nicki Minaj .
And M.I.A. came on stage, did the bump with Madonna...
 and flipped off the camera...!

Cee Lo Green was the final big-name walk-on.
They did"Open Your Heart" and "Like A Prayer,"
There was a gospel-style close with the message "World Peace."

Oh...the football was good, too.
(Congratulations to MVP Eli Manning !)
Peace, Y'all!

  • You can ask people to bring something, or you can hit the Grocery Store.
  •  You need: Cookies, sodas, water, beer, liquor and mixers if you wish (and if you're allowed Sunday purchases of alcohol where you live ), veggie tray, chili (in my house, anyway), chips, dip, maybe a SuperBowl theme cake...
  • Set up bar, ice drinks
  • Do a quickie clean-up of the house, clean up yourself
  • Have a drink, turn on some music, turn on the TV low-volume for pre-game shows
  • When guests arrive, some will be offering to help --  they can help you put out the food.

Style: Relaxed attire, preferably football shirts and jeans.

Party or not, I hope you have fun with the game, the commercials, half-time ( Madonna!) or just a relaxing evening with a good book...
Go Giants!
